Tooth Powder
I make tooth powder bc it’s fresher and more stable. Just slide some solid oil on ur brush and dip in powder ( yes I dip in powder bc the oil doesn’t spill over in the powder contaminating it )... Just don’t be sloppy with it. It’s about oral hygiene 🪥 health more so than pearly whites but, If that's ur liking, just rub banana peel or strawberry on ur teeth, let set for 10-15 minutes and there u have it 🤩. Also oil pull every day… EVERY DAI! I have been for nearly 20 years. Some diy will tell you to use XYLITOL… I don’t and it’s not required to make toothpaste but, it can be an ingredient that helps prevent cavities. I find the best way to prevent cavities is to simply brush ur teeth after eating and rinse with water throughout the dai. Simple as that, less process is best.
As an added feature I use Bentonite/Kaolin clay: which are considered natural alternatives to chemical toothpastes, can remove plaque without damaging enamel. pH: Clay can raise the pH of your mouth, making it harder for bacteria to grow. Antibacterial: Bentonite clay has antibacterial properties similar to charcoal.
- 2 Tablespoon Bentonite Clay
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Soda ( Aluminum Free/Food Grade )
- 2 teaspoons Activated Charcoal
- 1/2 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 30 drops Essential Oil (Food Grade) optional
Cinnamon may offer benefits for oral health due to its antimicrobial properties, potentially helping to fight bad breath, prevent cavities and reduce gum disease risk-
